Projects
186 Raglan Street, Mosman
Sydney Strata Engineers was engaged for magnesite remediation works to Units 3 and 12 at 186 Raglan Street, Mosman, where chloride-rich magnesite topping had caused deterioration risk to the reinforced concrete floor slabs. SSE prepared the remedial design and tender scope for removal of the magnesite, concrete breakout and repair, chloride reduction treatment, and reinstatement works.
The project included slab exposure, spalling repairs, reinforcement treatment, sacrificial anodes, two-stage Cocoon desalination treatment, self-levelling topping, and waterproofing to restore the affected floor areas. Sydney Strata Engineers administered the works in accordance with the DBP Act 2020, delivering a compliant remedial outcome that addressed hidden chloride contamination and improved the long-term durability of the structure.
