Our team initially undertook the detailed defect investigation and issued the engineering report, followed by preparing the full remedial scope covering concrete spalling repairs, crack injection, replacement of non-compliant brick balustrades with new aluminium balustrades, complete removal and reinstatement of balcony waterproofing systems, re-screeding and tiling, installation of new balcony door units and galvanised lintels, brick flashing upgrades, and reinstatement of finishes. Sydney Strata Engineers produced the regulated design under the Design and Building Practitioners Act and acted as both the Design Practitioner and Superintendent throughout construction, ensuring the works were delivered safely, compliantly, and in accordance with the approved design and Australian Standards.
